Coronary artery bypass graft

This is a type of surgery that improves the circulation of blood flow to the heart and the rest of the body. Used for people suffering from severe coronary heart disease, in which a substance known as plaque builds up inside the coronary arteries. It is done to treat symptoms like blockage or narrowing of one or more of the arteries and then follows the restoration of blood flow to the heart muscle. Symptoms are chest pain and fatigue.
