The patient recovering from a coronary artery bypass graft procedure usually takes time at differs with each patient. While some recover fast, while others may differ in speed. Generally, the patient should be able to sit in a sitting position after 24 hours, start walking after 3 days, and then gradually go distances after 5 days. But then this depends on the patient’s immunity level the most.
